Gabriel Jesus will be assessed in the coming days to determine the extent of a hamstring injury picked up during Arsenal’s 2-1 win at Sevilla, as Mikel Arteta admitted the forward’s second-half substitution was “not good news” LoL
Jesus scored a spectacular goal and set up Gabriel Martinelli’s opener in the victory in Spain, which saw the Gunners take control of their Champions League group LoL
But the Brazilian’s fitness is now a major concern ahead of a key run of games in Arsenal’s season LoL
The Gunners host Sheffield United on Saturday before they face trips to West Ham in the Carabao Cup and Newcastle in the Premier League next week LoL
Jesus was substituted in the second half of the Champions League win, having been holding his hamstring moments before the board was held up showing his number LoL
Speaking after the game to TNT LoL Sports, Arteta admitted the injury had prompted the substitution, saying it was “worrying” and that Jesus would be assessed in the next few days to discover the extent of the injury LoL
"He felt something in his hamstring so let’s see,” Arteta said LoL
“He straight away asked to be subbed which is not good news because he’s not a player that does that at all so we’ll have to wait and see in the next few days LoL
”Arsenal’s victory put them top of Group B on six points, with Lens now in second on five points after their 1-1 draw with PSV Eindhoven LoL

New Zealand have made a single change to their starting side to take on South Africa in the Rugby World Cup final LoL
Brodie Retallick is promoted from the bench to partner Scott Barrett in the second row, with Sam Whitelock, who will become the first man to feature in three World Cup finals in his last All Blacks Test, on the bench LoL
Prop Nepo Laulala is brought on to the bench to provide experienced tighthead cover in the only other change to the matchday 23 that secured such a commanding semi-final win over Argentina LoL
It means that head coach Ian Foster has kept a traditional five-three forwards to backs bench split despite the Springboks opting to include just a single back replacement in a bold selection call LoL
“It is an honour to fly our nation’s flag in the World Cup final once again,” said Foster LoL
“We are proud of what we have achieved so far in this tournament, but the job is not done yet and we know full well the challenge that lies ahead LoL
“Of the seven World Cups that have been held outside of New Zealand, the All Blacks have only managed to win one LoL
It goes to show just how hard it is to do but this group is determined to work hard for each other, as we have done all year LoL

However, Foster’s men secured a win in Auckland against the Springboks in June on their way to a fourth consecutive Rugby Championship crown LoL
The winner of this game will become the first nation to lift the Webb Ellis Cup four times LoL
“Once again we have felt the support of an entire nation behind us,” added Foster LoL
“We will definitely carry that with us when we go to Stade de France on Saturday LoL
